Vaporizing Flavors – Should We Bother to Breathe It?

Vaporizing Flavors – Should We Bother to Breathe It?

As a new father to twins, I was excited once the new FDA approved Vape Vaporizers arrived. Not only are they user friendly, however they taste great! A federal ban has been placed on smoking in the home if you are over the age of 18, now this isn’t a bad thing at all, as my twins are never going to get into the habit. But the new laws are pretty bad for gamers like me who’ve invested tons of money into their new portable device. So what’s the problem?

The thing is that flavored vapes have increased dramatically over the past couple of years. From bubble gum to chocolate and even mints to peanut butter it’s all on the market. Now it’s so hard to get the flavor you’re searching for that you may get frustrated. Plus, you can find hundreds of flavors not even right here. Just when it gets hard to select between all these liquids, the brand new FDA rules suggest that you quit and you also can’t!

This news makes me extremely sad, because e liquid has completely taken over the entire market of smoking cessation products. And for good reason. Vaping flavors allows me to take most of my preferences with me, anytime I’d like, and I don’t have Puff Bar to worry about how I’ll get to the toilet. I don’t have to worry about being able to make it over to my friend’s house or the party.

And this new ruling, although it might affect the consumer, it doesn’t affect the vaporizer manufacturers, the distributors, the merchants, or the general public health experts. That is right. The vaporizers and the liquids that people use everyday, don’t fall under the new yorker’s guidelines. They don’t have to be approved by the state before they might be sold. This means that there is no reason to worry about public health.

Which means that the vaporizers and the cigarettes we use, are perfectly safe and will not affect our health at all. Now, let’s discuss why hawaii health department threatened to remove vaporizer flavors from industry. Well, the reason why they made this threat, was since they were worried about kids. That are we trying to reach? The kids who love to put flavors in their e-cigarette, but don’t realize that they are hurting themselves by taking a puff or two?

Now, if we have a look at the new findings on what harmful menthol, strawberry, and grapefruit flavors can be to the youth, we are able to see where this whole mess started. Most adolescent smokers are influenced by popular culture, movies, music, cartoons, television shows, etc. We reside in an almost fairy-tale world. Teenagers specifically, have grown up with these “healthy” flavors within their e cigarettes, and some of these may never have smoked a cigarette, if it had been not for these flavoring chemicals. I’m letting you know now, it really is dangerous to expose your children to most of these things, once you know full well that they don’t possess the mental capacity to make a decision to start smoking.

Let’s take a look at even more facts that show why vaporizing liquid nicotine and e-juice in any form is extremely dangerous. Once you inhale through your nose, you are taking in the flavor through your throat, which goes directly into your lungs. This will ultimately cause you to breathe heavily, that may cause long term harm to your lungs. So, as you can see, if you’re going to smoke flavored tobacco, at least make sure you don’t breathe any of the flavorings.

So, given that we’ve reviewed why the vaporizer industry is against certain flavors, we need to discuss what the FDA should be doing about it. It really is now illegal for manufacturers to create e-liquid that has any sort of tobacco or nicotine components in it. They are also likely to have to include warnings on the packages stating that this product may cause some health threats to those who use it. This is a great step in the right direction, but so long as the flavoring is still there, you’ll never know very well what else is within, so keep away from those tasty brownies, mochas, and chocolates.
